Lively at Victor Park | The Origin IncomePlus Fund
This $8 million preferred equity position with a 14% target annualized yield is our most recent investment for the IncomePlus Fund. This 318-unit, Class A multifamily development is located in Greer, S.C., a northeastern suburb of Greenville. The site was a former textile mill and is approved to receive tax credits through the South Carolina Textile Mill Tax Credit Program, which will substantially mitigate repayment risk and effectively collateralizes our investment basis. Fall Social Distancing Resident Event
We continue to innovate to find opportunities for residents at our buildings to mingle while adhering to social distance guidelines. One recent example is at our IncomePlus Fund property Monroe Aberdeen Place in Chicago. Partnering with a local nursery, we hosted a pop-up shopping event on the sidewalk outside our property. Residents were given an opportunity to mix and mingle at an appropriate social distance while stocking up on mums, pumpkins and plants. The added benefit of hosting this event out on the sidewalk is the activity and foot traffic it created outside the property.
