Webinar: QOZ Fund III Overview (Aug., 2023)
Join Origin Co-CEO David Scherer and Vice President of Acquisitions Phil Schuholz on Wednesday, Sep. 20 at 2 p.m. CT for an overview of Origin Qualified Opportunity Zone (QOZ) Fund III. QOZ Fund III is being established to invest in, develop and manage a portfolio of multifamily development projects with long-term growth potential that are located in designated Opportunity Zones across the southwest and southeast United States.
Investors who invest capital gains in QOZ Fund III are eligible for the potential tax benefits offered by the QOZ program, namely tax deferral and exemption. Taxpayers who invest capital gains in the Fund are able to defer paying federal taxes on those gains until Dec. 31, 2026. Furthermore, if you hold your investment in the Fund for 10 years, you will not be required to pay taxes on the appreciation of your investment.
