District West is a ground-up development located in one of the best census tracts designated as an Opportunity Zone in Orlando, FL. When complete, the property will host eight three-story buildings in a Class A apartment complex in Orlando’s Packing District, approximately four miles from downtown. The 240-unit project is being developed in partnership with Crossland Southeast. The Packing District is the redevelopment of Dr. Phillips Inc.’s historic holdings in College Park. Dr. Phillips Inc., formerly the largest citrus producer in the world, maintained 84 acres in this location in the first half of the 20th century. The project will benefit from the revitalization of this area, which will include a regional park, master stormwater system, grocery-anchored retail, a 22,400 square foot food hall, and the Creative Village, which is a massive $1.5 billion development of over 69 acres anchored by new downtown campuses for University of Central Florida, Valencia College, and EA Sports’ new headquarters.
