Webinar: What to Know About Tax Laws for QOZ Investments

On this webinar, Origin Principal Michael Episcope is joined by Founder of Bracket Partners, John Hoffman, for a discussion around potential changes in tax laws, QOZ tax filing logistics, and the most pressing questions they have received from investors looking to understand the QOZ program.

Please also note: A question was raised during the webinar at the :54 minute mark regarding the exact date returns are due from the 180-day rule. The upcoming deadline to make a capital gain rollover investment into a QOZ Fund with respect to certain 2020 pass-through gains is September 10, 2021. This deadline applies to capital gains reported on a 2020 Schedule K-1 received from a calendar-year partnership if the partnership itself did not make a rollover election for such gains
