IncomePlus-Fund-Announces-Fifth-Consecutive-Dividend-Increase-for-2026

Quick Take: Origin Investments’ IncomePlus Fund has increased its monthly dividend for the fifth consecutive year, raising the 2026 distribution to $0.0625 per share. Since launching in April 2019, the Fund has had no interruptions of monthly distributions—even through market volatility in 2020 and the challenging rate environment of 2024 and 2025. This milestone reflects the Fund’s disciplined strategy, diversified portfolio and focus on delivering durable, risk-adjusted income for accredited investors.

Origin Investments is pleased to announce that the Origin IncomePlus Fund has increased its monthly dividend for the fifth consecutive year, continuing a multi-year trend of consistent income growth despite the persistent headwinds facing commercial real estate. With this increase, the Fund has now delivered 81 consecutive monthly distributions without interruption since its launch in April 2019—a milestone that underscores its focus on capital preservation, growth and long-term investor outcomes.

Sustained Dividend Growth Reflects Portfolio Strength

The Fund closed 2025 with another meaningful achievement: the fifth straight annual dividend increase. The most recent adjustment raised the monthly dividend to $0.0625 per share, effective January 2026, equal to a 6.5% distribution yield on an annualized basis. This steady progression reflects the continued expansion of the Fund’s stabilized portfolio and the transition of development investments into income-producing properties. Together, these drivers support the Fund’s goal of delivering durable, risk-adjusted income through varying market conditions.

A Consistent Source of Monthly Income

Since inception, the IncomePlus Fund has had no interruptions of monthly distributions—even during periods of heightened volatility such as March 2020 when COVID first hit—reinforcing its role as a core income strategy built for reliability. This consistency is supported by diversification across more than 20 high-growth markets and exposure to various capital structures. The Fund prioritizes durability and predictability over short-term yield, positioning it as a foundational income solution for investors.

Selective Acquisitions Strengthen Portfolio Quality

Alongside organic growth from existing assets, the Fund continues to expand through selective acquisitions. In 2025, the Fund acquired Brickyard, a Denver-area multifamily development that increases exposure to a supply-constrained market with strong demographic and employment fundamentals. Brickyard is expected to contribute to both net asset value growth and future income generation. Over time, the project is expected to enhance the Fund’s ability to generate consistent cash flow. Origin remains disciplined in its acquisition strategy, focusing on high-quality markets where long-term demand supports sustained performance.

Executing a Disciplined Strategy in a Challenging Market

Throughout 2024 and 2025, the commercial real estate sector faced elevated interest rates, higher operating expenses and broader market uncertainty. During this period, the IncomePlus Fund increased its distribution while operating within a conservative framework of underwriting discipline, active asset management and prudent capital allocation. Rather than pursuing short-term opportunities, the Fund continued to prioritize assets and capital structures designed to perform reliably across economic cycles.

Positioned for the Years Ahead

As the Fund enters 2026, it is supported by a larger, more income-oriented portfolio and an ongoing focus on capital preservation and growth potential. The current dividend of $0.0625 per share reflects both the underlying portfolio strength and Origin’s disciplined management approach. In addition, the Fund’s monthly valuation process—supported by third-party oversight from Altus Group—provides an independent assessment of portfolio value, enhancing transparency and reinforcing investor confidence as the Fund advances into its next phase of growth.

Looking ahead, the Fund is positioned to benefit from improving market conditions, including moderating interest rates and constrained new supply in key markets.
