Denver Real Estate Market Analysis

Volatility in Stocks vs Private Real Estate

We all know Denver is on the rise lately, but why? We believe it has a lot to do with population growth, infrastructure improvements, and a government that’s been very conducive to progress and growth.

Origin Principal David Scherer and Director of Acquisitions Tom Briney spend the day driving through several of our favorite Denver sub-markets. We start the day off near one of our developments at Green Valley Ranch. From there, we drive a few blocks to Anschutz Medical Campus and then to Longmont, a more mature sub-market to the north where we run into a developer’s worst nightmare: prairie dogs.

After Longmont, we head to Boulder, where we look at several office buildings we expect will benefit from the $131 million Google campus being completed there. We then finish the day downtown to wrap up our whirlwind tour of Denver.
