Tom Briney

As president and chief investment officer, Tom is responsible for the construction and oversight of multifamily credit funds on behalf of Origin Investments’ affiliate firm, Origin Credit Advisers LLC. He joined Origin Investments in 2011 as vice president of asset management and then as managing director of acquisitions, overseeing real estate portfolio assets.  

Prior to Origin, Tom underwrote and transacted commercial real estate investments at Equity Office Properties and was a commercial credit analyst at JPMorgan Chase.  

Tom earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Connecticut. He has more than 19 years of experience in the commercial real estate sector. Tom resides in Denver with his wife and children, is a cyclist, skier and loves to travel.
