Derrick Beckwith
Vice President of Investor Relations
Derrick serves as vice president of investor relations at Origin Investments, where he plays a pivotal role in leading capital formation and business development efforts for the firm’s private equity real estate offerings. He focuses on strengthening and expanding relationships with registered investment advisors (RIAs) and family offices, overseeing investor engagement and business growth within the Northeast territory.
Before joining Origin in 2024, Derrick accumulated extensive experience in capital formation and business development in leading asset management firms like OppenheimerFunds, State Street, Altegris Investments and Easterly Asset Management. His expertise spans public and private market solutions, including hedge funds, private equity, private real estate and private credit strategies.
Derrick lives in Newburyport, Mass., with his wife and two children. He holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of New Hampshire.
