Jacob Arends

Jacob joined Origin’s investment management team, where he leads development execution across Origin’s direct development portfolio and drives deal-level investment performance throughout the project life cycle for Origin’s limited partner positions.

Prior to joining Origin, Jacob gained experience at Lincoln Property Company as a development analyst, where he played an integral role in the sourcing, underwriting, and management of institutional-grade luxury multifamily developments and acquisitions.

Jacob holds a bachelor of science in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Born and raised in Chicago’s northern suburbs, he recently relocated to Charlotte, NC, where he enjoys spending time outdoors and cheering on the Fighting Illini.
