Sam Blackburn

As investment management associate, Sam oversees the operational and financial performance of a portfolio of assets primarily located in Colorado, Arizona and Nevada. He joined Origin’s Denver office in November 2024. 

Before joining Origin, Sam worked at Monarch Investment & Management Group, where he helped manage on-site operations for a 3,400-unit multifamily portfolio valued at over $400 million. During his three-year tenure, he supported refinancing, acquisition and disposition efforts within his region and identified opportunities to enhance portfolio performance. 

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Sam earned a bachelor of science in business administration with a dual emphasis in finance and real estate from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Outside of work, Sam enjoys traveling, watersports and cheering on Ohio and CU Boulder sports.
